GRLBND is a female-founded, owned, and operated collective of managers and producers who are committed to amplifying diverse voices across all genres and platforms.
We are the spark for creators that have been underrepresented and serve as an incubator for up-and-coming talent. In this moment of intense transition in our industry, GRLBND is fueled by these waves of revolution and our clients are the inspired pioneers of this change.
We strive to elevate unique and emerging creators and evolve with them, using our combined momentum to create new opportunities. Our clients are a reflection of the world we see, and our goal is to make their presence the rule, not the exception.
MEET THE band
KARA
WELKER
Kara is a leading Talent Manager and Producer, currently overseeing a production overall deal with Imagine Entertainment, across all platforms.
Kara manages some of the most prolific minds in comedy working today and has a client roster of actors, comedians, writers, producers and directors.
Prior to GRLBND, Kara was president and founding partner of Imagine Artist Management and Generate. Kara started her career working at 3 Arts Entertainment, and before that, Messina Baker Entertainment. During her time as a student, she worked at the Improv.
CHRISTINA
CAMPAGNOLA
Christina is a Manager and Producer with a focus on diverse, independent voices, and multi-hyphenates, across all platforms.
Christina started her management career at Imagine Artist Management. Before management, Christina was an agent in the Motion Picture Literary Department at the Agency for the Performing Arts where she represented filmmakers. During her time at APA, she helped launch their Independent Film Packaging and Sales division where she sold independent features and consulted for film funds.
She is the co-founder of the Untitled Ladies Script Club and serves on the Dean’s Council of the Florida State University Film School, where she received a BFA in Film Production.
KIM
VEASEY
Kim is a Manager and Producer with a focus on diverse, multi-hyphenate voices across all platforms.
Prior to joining IAM/GRLBND, Kim was a Publicist, who worked on numerous campaigns for major studios including Sony, Pixar, Lionsgate, Warner Bros., and Screen Gems, creating and implementing campaigns designed to support their theatrical film releases. Kim also executed publicity campaigns for corporate clients, including Netflix, Omaze, and Quora, and served as the personal representative for filmmakers and corporate executives.
Most recently, Kim served as the head of publicity and marketing for digital streaming platform Blackpills, a French-based startup that specialized in mobile-first premium short form content. Kim was a senior partner at CC-PR, a full-service entertainment communications agency based in Los Angeles.
